we were lucky and very grateful to be able to visit another beautiful part of this wonderful country ❤️🇨🇭❤️

The Vallée de Joux is a lovely valley in canton de Vaud, in a unspoilt countryside between Jura Mountain Ranges. Its beautiful “lac de joux“ invites you for moments of relaxation, swimming, paddling, water skiing, or many other activities.

We were welcome with a delicious lunch at “l'alpage du Chalottet“ 😋👌This Farmer Restaurant created in the former stable of the chalet is located in the fabulous Vallée de Joux, in the heart of the pastures. They propose delicious meals mainly of homemade and regional products, and you can also discover and taste there cheeses made in an old-style cheese factory.

we had a great stay at Bellevue le Rocheray and had a delicious dinner there (a restaurant that we really recommend, if you love food like we do 😁⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👌).

Then we drived to Le Pont 1012m alt., where we started an easy 3 hours hike (up and down) to La Dent de Vaulion 1483m alt. Arrived at the top we stop by “la Buvette de la Dent de Vaulion“ (1410m alt.) for lunch 🧀😋. La Dent de Vaulion is a famous and appreciated hiking spot in the vallée de Joux, as the panorama on the top is magnificent. For those who can't or don't want walk up, and would like also enjoy this view, you can drive until “la buvette de la Dent de Vaulion“, and from there you need only 10-15min walk until the top 😉.
