we walked a small part of the Thurweg (the full trail is about 50km) in the Toggenburg district (canton Saint-Gall) from the village Stein to Unterwasser. we went to the beautiful Thurwasserfall (from Unterwasser it only takes 5 to 10 minutes to go to this waterfall. and now is the perfect time to see it, because if the beginning of summer is again hot and dry there will be no more water in August 🙈). It’s an easy and relaxing walk (to do when you don't feel enough in shape to climb for hours 😅)

view that I still wanted to go up a bit, to at least see the ”Churfirsten”, we walked to Laui (which takes a little less than an hour from the waterfall)

The Laui area with its playground, fireplace, surrounding by mountains (and cows 😆) and the Säntisthur rushing past where you can refresh yourself in a hot sumner day, it is a little paradise, ideal for families (if you can't walk up there is also parkings there)
