Snowshoe hike in Beautiful Appenzell Innerrhoden ❤️

We Started our walk in Weissbad (canton Appenzell Innerrhoden). we decide to walk to Gasthaus Lehmen, were is a car park🤦🏻‍♀️ (Good to Know For the Next Time 😆).

From there Starts Winter hiking path (pink panel 😉). You can then Walk with The Snowshoes until Schwägalp (that Also Good to Know For the next Time). But we decide to Walk to The Leuenfall (which takes only 10-15min From the parking) and the Ahorn Kapelle.

From there we chose to take the hiking trail (yellow panel) back to Weissbad (we followed the Snowshoe Prints). This way was Of course much more Beautiful than the One through the Road (From Weissbad to Gasthaus Lehmen). Also on this path we could a bit enjoy the sun 😆

it is of course not advisable to take paths not prepared for the winter hike. But when there is a lot footprints, it's still reassuring, it must be local people, who know the path well who certainly have made the route. And anyway as soon as I see danger, we turn back 😁 but there I really don't saw any danger. In short, this small climb and crossing in forest and plain on the ”Kapelle Weg“ was just magnificent (and so peaceful)

we only walked 12.5 km, but with the snowshoes it seemed much longer 😆. tomorrow we will certainly have pain in the thighs and arms 🤷🏻‍♀️😅

the sentence of the day was from a hiker we met: “in this crazy world, you have to enjoy your moments of freedom in this calm and beauty that surrounds us."

I said to myself pretty much the same thing this morning: “even if I only have one day off, I have to take advantage of it ! I find the strength to go to work every day, so for the little free time I have, I will also find the strength to enjoy life.“ (that's often the problem from many poeple, the whole life they only commute from home to work. And once it will be too late, they will regret that they don't did more than this).
