An easy and Beautiful Summer walk For the whole Family

Once again we take you to Toggenburg District in canton Saint-Gall.

It’s a Walk we do often when we get visit from People who aren‘t used to do long hikes. You Will be immediately surrounded from an amazing landscape and Mountains without geting tired ;)

We Start in Unterwasser 906m alt., to the Thurwasserfall (it Takes only about 10min Walk ! and this year there was enough water, as we had more than enough rain. this first stop will already delight your guests, friends, family. Then we climb a bit direction Laui 1069m alt., through wood and fields (it Takes about 1 hour).

Arrived at Laui, there is a beautiful place where you can Rest, have your lunch with view on Säntis, and where your Children can play 😊 a little Kiosk there sells Drinks, cheese plates, sausages (which you roast yourself on one of the 2 or 3 🤔😅 grill), ice cream,… You can also refresh yourself on a hot summer day in the River flowing next to this beautiful place… we opted for a cheese plate, sausages with bread and beers (our Family have loved this simple and user-friendly lunch, almost everyone Love such Kind of lunch ! And our guests are always suprised to find such nice Barbecue areas here in this amazing Little Country 😁🇨🇭❤️)

Also on the way to Laui (or back to Unterwasser) you will find a small wooden house with a freezer where you can take ice cream (you can pay with cash or Twint).

And for those Who can’t or don't want walk, but would like to enjoyed Time with Family or Friends surrounded by this beautiful Natur, there is a parking there 😊 you drive from Unterwasser towards Chüeboden/Alpli and then towards Laui. There is the large parking next to the barbecue area, the parking fee is a flat rate of 5 francs per day.
