A beautiful hike in the Magnificent APPENZELLERLAND 💚 (31 mai 2021)

from Brülisau 922m - Plattenbödeli 1279m - Sämtisersee 1209m - Bollenwees 1471m - Fälensee 1446m - Rheintaler Sämtis 1317m - back to Brülisau

”Fälensee”

we started the hike in Brülisau (next to the church and the Hoher Kasten cable car station, there is a big parking ... but on weekends in good weather, I think it‘s better to go early to have a place 😅 seems a really famous place).

we took the steep way (road) direction Sämtisersee, we Walked about 1:15. then we continue the Same way direction Fälensee (about 1 hour). We planed to Walk up to Saxer Lücke (it Takes only 35 min from Bollenwees) but still unfortunately too much snow 🙈 (with the heat that they announce in the next days it should melt quickly 🤞). in situations like this i'm the one who brake the fun 😆 I'm always very careful, maybe too much for some. But I only have one life and I care about it... since in my opinion we already have so little time of leisures (😆yeah we spend way too much time working in life)... So we walked back to Bollenwees were we had a delicious and generous lunch (by the way, you can book a Room at @bollenwees , with view on Fälensee, and Fall a sleep and wake up surrounded with this magical Mountains... but on weekend is often full booked, so book in advance or during the week).

after lunch, we walk along the Fälensee until the other side, there still some snow on the way, but it wasn‘t risky.

Then we Walked back direction Rheintaler Sämtis (this way is More Beautiful than the One we took For walking up to Bollenwees, but maybe better For walking back down like we did, as it‘s a bit more steep than the other).

And then back to Sämtisersee, and Plattenbödeli, where we had a Drink before going back to Brülisau.
